Meet Our Senior Pastor
Demetric Felton
Demetric Felton is the Senior Pastor of Beyond the Walls Community Church. He and his wife, Lennette, started the church in their home in July 2012. Demetric and Lennette have been married since September 1994 and have three children.
Demetric previously served in the Navy as a Chaplain. He retired from the Navy in 2015 after 20 years of honorable service. He now dedicates his time to shepherding the flock at Beyond the Walls. Demetric holds a Bachelors in Theology from the Tennessee School of Religion, a Master in Divinity from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary and is currently working towards his Doctor of Ministry at Talbot School of Theology. Demetric is committed to Discipleship, expository Bible teaching and ensuring everything done at Beyond the Walls points to Jesus Christ. His life verse is:
Galatians 2:20 - I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Bringing Them Closer Together
In alignment with our church’s mission, we embrace Jesus’ command to go and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19) as the goal of everything we do. Through intentional community, honest conversations, and Spirit-led discipleship, we are transformed from fear to faith, from confusion to clarity, and from isolation to Christ-centered unity.
As bridges to the next generation, we carry the message of Jesus forward. We are empowering, equipping, and unashamed through Christ. (Romans 12:2)
