THE E.D.G.E. Youth Ministry is for ages 13-18
We mimic the church vision in “Loving and leading people to Jesus”. Our vision is to respond to the social and spiritual needs of the youth within our church and community. We will do this by providing relative and challenging programs, activities, and events that will allow them to build a strong foundation of faith. This will enable them to express and share their faith through their own words and actions.
The EDGE Stands for (Educate.Disciples.Growing.
We want to identify each of their individual gifts and talents and then give them the opportunity to put them into practice, by serving in church and in their community. We want to take our youth and the lives they represent to a whole new level. Through Biblical teaching and a specific set of Biblical tools, we know they will get a full understanding of who Christ is and will be able to demonstrate that at home and at school. I call it “Growing leaders and Making Disciples”
Marcus Robinson is the Youth Pastor at BTW Community Church. With a growing love and passion for God, Marcus attended and graduated from Seminary school. He and his wife Monica have been serving in ministry for over a decade. Together they have a rich history of service, from leading and teaching children and youth, leading home groups, to missionary outreach homeless feeding ministry. They enjoy visiting with family and spending time with their three young adult children when they can.
Marcus is so excited to be able to build relationships with parents and to share God’s word with our younger generation who are looking for answers.
