The mission of the church is to bring God glory by making disciples (Matthew 28:19-20). As Disciples of Jesus Christ we have been given a mandate and responsibility to live out and proclaim the gospel to a lost and broken world (2 Corinthians 5:17-21, Colossians 1:28-29).
We will pray for, serve, and evangelize our community in order that they may hear the clear message of the gospel, responding in repentance and faith. We will disciple believers to follow Jesus Christ . First, through baptism, which is an expression of our belief of entering into the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Secondly, we will teach disciples to obey the teachings of Jesus Christ.
A true disciple is one who follows, learns from, and obeys Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ commands us to love God and to love others (Matthew 22:34-40). A person who truly believes in Jesus Christ will be marked by love (John 13:34-35).
